Hi I’m Vivienne,
Midwife and public health nurse of 20 years, now a nutritionist specialising in pre and postpartum nutrition.
Working as a midwife, our nutrition advice to mums-to-be consisted of prenatal supplements, folic acid, and the foods not to eat in pregnancy.
It wasn’t until I experienced pregnancy myself that I had my first “aha” moment in regards to pregnancy, nutrition, women’s and baby’s health.
Having limited nutrition knowledge in my first pregnancy, (even though I was a midwife), led me to start my research. What I discovered blew my mind, and, had a huge (fantastic) impact on my health in my second pregnancy.
My two totally different pregnancy experiences led me years later into my career change as a nutritionist. I’m now making a difference, helping many mums-to-be and new mums, working in an area where facts, research-based, sound nutrition advice is limited.
I know exactly how frustrating it can become, knowing where to get started with nutrition, when the exciting news of a pregnancy arrives.
You can spend hours upon hours searching on the internet, hoping to find exactly what you need, then you end up not knowing who to trust.
This is why I developed a 21-day meal plan!
I’ve used my midwifery knowledge, mum of two experiences, and my nutritional expertise, to develop a prenatal meal plan that’ll show you where to start, and, give you tasty recipes to use now, and as a new mum.
Knowing how to eat well in pregnancy, instead of just counting the calories, eating boring bland foods, and worrying about weight gain, has helped many of my clients thrive in pregnancy, and, head into labour and delivery healthy, nourished and focused! I know these recipes are going to give you exactly what you’ve been looking for too.
Don’t just listen to me, hear what other mums-to-be had to say …
